VANDYTHEPINK and ASICS proudly present their latest collaboration, introducing a distinct colourway of the iconic ASICS GEL-KAYANO™ 12.1 sneaker – a longtime favourite of founder Vandy Son and one of ASICS' most recognisable silhouettes.

Inspired by Vandy's first 17 years growing up in Korea and the following 20 years in America, the collection tells the story of two cultures that have shaped both the designer and VANDYTHEPINK. At the heart of the project is a tribute to "Aiseu-Keki" ( 아이스케키 ), one of Korea's most nostalgic terms for frozen treats.

Hidden references to Korean culture are woven into the footwear and custom packaging, marking the first time a Korean brand has incorporated Hangul onto a GEL-KAYANO™ 12.1. From subtle Korean phrases on the shoes to details printed on the shoebox, these elements encourage wearers to discover the story hidden throughout the design.
